И чем все закончилось, AOS v CP?
Я написал e-mail в KCC с вопросом по процедуре перехода с CP на AOS. Ниже я цитирую суть их ответа на мой e-mail:
"…If the CIS determines that you are eligible to adjust status you will be
required to pay a non-refundable diversity-processing fee of $375.00 per
person directly to the Department of State…
We do request that you complete and return the DSP-122 to the Kentucky
Consular Center so that we may update your file. Question 4 of this
form states: Name of United States Consular Office where you would like
to process your application". When adjusting status with the Citizenship
and Immigration Service, please list the address of your local CIS
office."
Позже, после отсылки новой DSP-122, чтобы удостовериться в том, что они меня правильно поняли, я позвонил в KCC. Дозвонился я мгновенно и получил подтверждение своего запроса.
В итоге я получил GC по AOS в течении 2-x месяцев: отправил I-485 9 февраля и получил GC по почте в начале апреля.

Делали ли Name check после интервью?
Если да, сколько длился?
Наши GC были одобрены во время интервью, так что никакой name check после интервью не было. Офицер достала печать “Approved…” и приложила ее к нашим I-485.
Я думаю, что name check производится после процедуры fingerprinting. Никакой задержки после этой процедуры не было: мы получили письмо на интервью в течении 2-х недель.
В итоге я получил GC по AOS в течении 2-x месяцев: отправил I-485 9 февраля и получил GC по почте в начале апреля

We contacted the Department of State Kentucky Consular Center and have confirmed that all Diversity Visa Lottery winners must submit Form
DS-122, regardless if they will be applying for adjustment of status
in the United States or if they will proceed with consular processing.…Please note that for the employment history information, we retrieved the
information from your PERM application.Once we receive the finalized signed form, we will submit to the DOS
KCC along with the request for your intent to adjust within the United
States.
не очень мне понятен второй абзац. это хорошо или плохо, что они уведомят о нашей “PERM application”? или я в данном конткестк неправильно понимаю слово “retrieve”?
не они уведомят, а они получили информацию из вашей [PERM application]
