The Functional QA team is seeking a motivated QA Engineer to perform, support Oracle IDM components testing and test development efforts further guaranteeing that the application performs all the time for every user and to contribute to continually improving the value the QA organization delivers.
Responsibilities:
• Set up test environments and test harnesses
• Participate in scoping QA test efforts
• Author test cases and test specifications
• Write automation and perform automated and manual testing
• Provide accurate information to the team’s manager for status reporting
• Work with Development to review new feature designs and validate test specifications to ensure they are comprehensively tested and meet customer expectations
• Identify defects and own them through the resolution and verification cycle
• Participate in the improvement of product quality and the quality process
Background and skills
Required:
• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science with 3-4 years experience in Quality Assurance
• Familiarity with Web technologies, in particular, HTTP, HTML, XML.
• Proficiency in one or more of these Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, Solaris SPARC, Solaris x86, HP-UX, or IBM-AIX
• Experience with one or more of these popular Web servers (Apache, OHS, SunOne, IHS)
• Ability to work independently and with remote management
• Ability to anticipate questions that may be asked by recipients of status reports and other correspondence who are in different time zones and pre-answer them
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to function in a demanding environment; quality proponent; ability to assume the perspective of customers and their users and serve as their advocates.
• Coding skills in a high-level language such as Perl or Java
Highly Desired Skills:
• Ability to grasp new product features early in their development cycle when documentation is often limited or non-existent
• Familiarity with HTTPUnit, JUnit, Selenium, LISA, and commercial GUI testing tools
• Strong knowledge of software quality best practices
• Experience with IBM WebSphere and Oracle WebLogic application servers
• Experience with one or more common LDAP servers, Oracle databases, and identity and access management concepts

Software Engineer Intern For New York Office
We are looking for a Software Engineer Intern specializing in Web Development using LAMP/LAPP technologies.
Qualifications:
• Basic knowledge of PHP5.3 and Zend Framework
• Experience in designing SQL databases (PostgeSQL, MySQL), NoSQL databases is a plus
• Experience with Version Control Systems (SVN, Git)
Responsibilities:
— Develop new functionality using GUI and coding best practices
— Develop unit test scripts in support of regression and performance testing
— Work on fixing bugs, modifying existing code base
— Write basic documentation for his/her code
— Provide oral and written status to the management

к сожалению, не знаю. я получил эту информацию по почте от Николь (она рекрутер в МС) и с ее разрешения опубликовал на нескольких форумах. Обычно рекрутеры находят кандидатов в Linkedin и связываются с ними по почте.
На очное собеседование в москве пригласят 50-100 человек, где-то 10 из них сделают оферы (это не официальная информация, а предположение на основе прошлого опыта).
