Вобщем так, ESL в школе - не вариант, так как ты не студент. Посмотри на community college, обычно там бесплатные курсы.

Не метите пургу, почти в каждой школе должны быть бесплатные курсы и для вас не должно быть проблемой туда за писаться на самый высокий уровень. Когда обживетесь тут чуть-чуть, то пойдете на платные. Дойдите до любой elementary-middle-high school и спросите у них есть ли esl классы для взрослых
Зы. И не задавайте глупых вопросов как там учат. Как там учат будет зависеть от многих факторов.

Yes they have but not for people who stay here on temporary basis. L1 it’s temporary basis. And you know, MTV Adult school provide paid courses but almost all of they in the middle of day.
I’ve also checked Santa Clara Adult school, it has 2 courses at evening time, Accent Modification (now it’s really not for me) and Conversation for Intermediate and Adv that only one day at evening time, but it still better then nothing.
In Adult schools usually it’s 8 or 12 week with 1-2 days on the week. General price for one unit is 80-100$.

В adult schools бывает по-разному, вообще-то.

Wow, sorry, didn’t understand your question. Mission college provide different units in ESL section (e.g. Grammar, Reading & Writing, Listening & Speaking for different level). The spring session since mid of January till mid of May - 4 month. Each unit provide 2 lesson per week, 90 min each lesson.
PS. I’m sorry that I’m asking stupid questions but it’s better ask stupid question than don’t ask them and stay stupid.
Значит, 2800$ - это цена за семестр, за три класса, каждый два раза в неделю по 90 мин? Это нормальная цена как для нерезидента.

When I was there they said that L1 it’s a temporary basis. And my level higher then they provide on free courses.

if you want to study English, find a girl-friend. She will teach you better than ESL.
Advice is an uncountable noun, so no article. cupper, stick to your courses.
